Nova Scotia Invites 144 Express Entry Candidates

Nova Scotia has invited 144 Express Entry candidates working in Advertising, Marketing or Public Relations to apply for a Provincial Nomination for Canadian permanent residence through its labor market priorities stream. The candidates who selected needed to have the National Occupation Code (NOC) 1123.

The Labour Market Priorities Stream allows the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) to search Canada’s Express Entry pool for eligible candidates who match labor market needs in the province or territories. Since its launch in 2018, the stream has invited early childhood education workers, financial auditors and accountants, social workers and French-speaking Express Entry candidates.

The Selected candidates need to provide letters of reference from employers to demonstrate that they have 2 or more years of full-time experience or equivalent part-time experience in advertising, marketing or public relations within the 5 years preceding the application. They also needed to have selected English as their first official language and have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 9 or higher in all language skills.
