British Columbia Issues 237 Invitations

The British Columbia issues 237 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination which held on 7th May 2020. British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC.PNP) invited the candidates from Express Entry BC Stream and Skills Immigration streams.

The Express Entry candidates, skilled workers, and semi-skilled workers and international student graduates were invited in this draw to apply for BC Provincial Nomination. The provincial score requirements varied depending on the subcategory. They are 2 subcategories included in this draw under the Express Entry BC stream were:

  1. The provincial score required in Skilled Worker is 108
  2. The provincial score required in International Graduate is 106.

These candidates had their valid profiles in the federal Express Entry system. If these candidates successfully receive the provincial nomination then they will be effectively guaranteed to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in a federal Express Entry draw. There were 3 subcategories included under the Skills Immigration stream follows:

This invitation round was affected by the impact of coronavirus on British Columbia businesses. The number of sales and service occupations was not included in the draw but those who received an invitation to apply (ITA) now have up to 30 English calendar days. They must submit a complete application to the BC PNP for the provincial nomination.
