Job offer of Employment – Skilled Immigrants for Express Entry
If you have a job offer (offer of arranged employment) then you need to update your Express Entry profile in your account with the following details:
- Your start date
- Your employer name and address
- A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) number if you have the one and
- The National Occupational Classification (NOC) code related to the job offer
Your job offer must be in the following:
- Your Job offer letter must be in writing
- It should not be from an embassy, high commission or consulate in Canada
- show the details of the offered job, such as:
- Pay and Deductions
- Job Duties and
- The conditions of employment like your hours of work and weekly offs
The work permit on its own is not a job offer, even if it is an open work permit. Your job offer must also meet other criteria to be valid under the Express Entry program that you qualify for Federal Skilled Workers and Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades workers.
