Ontario Invites 699 Express Entry CandidatesOntario Invites 699 Express Entry Candidates with CRS scores as low as 358 were invited with work experience in one of 9 occupations to apply for a provincial nomination in the latest draw which held on 3rd June 2020.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) recent draw invited the immigration candidates who may be eligible for the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP). The immigration candidates with work experience in the following 9 occupations were issued Notifications of Interest (NOI) in the latest invitation round of 3rd June.

  1. The financial managers –  (NOC 0111)
  2. The other administrative services managers – (0114)
  3. Advertising, marketing, and public relations managers – (0124)
  4. The financial auditors and accountants – (NOC 1111)
  5. The other financial officers – (NOC 1114)
  6. The professional occupations in business management consulting – (NOC 1122)
  7. The registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses – (NOC 3012)
  8. The other primary health practitioners – (NOC 3124)
  9. The dieticians and nutritionists – (NOC 3132)

The Express Entry candidates who have at least 1 year of work experience in Canada must need a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 358 and 439 in order to receive an invitation from Ontario.

The total number of 167 Notification of Interest (NOI) was given to the candidates with work experience in Canada.

In the latest draw, most of the invitations were given to candidates who had done work experience abroad.

The total number of 532 of the invited candidates did the required work experience internationally and these candidates needed the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 471 and 500.

In order to be invited for this, the candidates first needed to have profiles in the federal Express Entry system.

The Express Entry System manages the applications for 3 federal immigration programs i.e.

  1. Federal Skilled Workers Program(FSWP), 
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Program(FSTP), and 
  3. Canadian Experience Class(CEC).

The immigration candidates are awarded points based on their human capital factors such as candidates’ age, work experience, education, and language ability in English or French.

The nomination from a Provincial Nominee Program practically guarantees that the immigration candidate will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in a regular federal Express Entry draw. The Ontario is allowed to nominate 7,600 principal applicants this year.

 It includes 250 nominations for temporary workers in intermediate skilled occupations or National Occupation Classification (NOC) for skill level C. In the year 2019 over half of Ontario’s 7,391 provincial nominees were Express Entry candidates.
