In Canada, they are 3 economic class immigration programs that manage the pool of candidates for the Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canada Experience Class. Applicants who applied will get a score under Express Entry’s CRS that is based on factors such as Age, Education, Skilled Work Experience and Language Ability in English or French.

A valid job offer is not required in order to be eligible for an Express Entry invitation to apply (ITA), though extra points are awarded if an applicant has one. As the Canadian government holds regular draws for a set number of the highest-scoring express entry applicants and the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score is determined by the size of the draw.
